Administrative Assistant for Global Student Recruitment

Workplace Description
The position will be located at the Global Student Recruitment department within the section of Global Engagement in Lund University's central administration.
Within the section, we are a total of about 50 people, of which 10 work in the Global Student Recruitment (GSR) team. The team's mission is to recruit students from all over the world to the university's over 140 international bachelor's and master's programs. The team includes regional recruitment coordinators, CRM coordinators, communication partners, as well as scholarship administrators, administrative assistants, and migration support.

Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility
Lund University is seeking an administrative assistant to assist the team with a number of administrative processes related to global student recruitment. An important task will be to coordinate the joint student ambassador program and the digital systems associated with this program. The position also includes planning and executing events, guided tours, and presentations, as well as administering events in our shared systems. The role also includes coordinating certain work processes for the team's digital content and ordering marketing materials used in recruitment efforts.
The work also involves collaborating with suppliers and the entire team to adapt and optimize work processes and systems for Lund University's operations and the team's recruitment activities.
It is important that you can work independently, but also that you have good collaboration with others in the team. It is crucial to be able to work towards flexible goals and to be responsive to the team's wishes and needs regarding support for recruitment efforts. Marketing and recruitment work is under constant development and change, and it is therefore important that systems, content, and processes are adapted accordingly.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position are:
- You have a higher education, at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (marketing, digital media, cultural analysis, communication, or similar)
- You have experience working with student communication and community building
- You have experience organizing student events
- You are comfortable working with digital tools for student recruitment
- You must be able to switch between overarching processes and small details, be meticulous, and have an interest in providing good service
- Experience from similar work in higher education and a good understanding of student recruitment processes
- Very good collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Excellent ability to express yourself in English, both spoken and written (the team's working language is English), and have knowledge of Swedish
- You have a good understanding of marketing/communication towards external target groups
- You have a structured working method and are a skilled organizer and writer
Desirable qualifications for the position include:
- You have experience working in CRM systems with marketing, lead management, sales, or customer support
- Experience of international work
- Other desirable personal qualities include responsiveness, the ability to work both independently and in a group, service orientation, good communication skills, and good pedagogical ability
Since this is a junior position, we see that you are at the beginning of your career, but with at least two years of professional experience, and want an exciting and challenging job in an international context.
The work involves contacts at all levels within Lund University and therefore requires good communication skills. As a person, you are very meticulous and take personal pride in delivering high-quality work. You are flexible, cooperative, analytical, and structured. You work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are good at relating to different people and building relationships. Not least, you are internationally oriented and interested in higher education.

The Global Engagement section works to provide support and service to the university's management, faculties, or equivalent, as well as students to strengthen and develop Lund University's international impact in research, education, innovation, and collaboration.
The section works to develop and implement international strategies through the work with Global Dynamic Engagement (GDE) as well as Global Responsible Engagement (GRE) and Global Sustainable Engagement (GSE). Within the section, they are responsible for overarching processes within Erasmus, the European Alliance EUGLOH, the networks LERU and U21, as well as global initiatives and projects. They also work with student recruitment for international education and related issues regarding tuition fees and scholarships. The section is responsible for the university-wide work with alumni relations. The section also works with international student mobility, scholarship management, and migration issues and hosts the University of California Study Center.
